All items purchased from East Coast Mobility are at the request of the purchaser. Whilst we can give advice on specific products, we cannot advise in relation to any specific individual.

Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and all other credit and debit cards. Finance may be available on certain products, please call us on 01502 514000 for details.

How to order

You can order your new product in a variety of ways to suit you:

  • Complete the secure on-line form with your credit/debit card details.
  • Complete the contact form with an outline of the product that you would like and we will help you complete the purchase
  • Complete the contact form requesting a call back from us.
  • Call us on 01502 514500.


You can pay by credit or debit card. We also offer finance via Snap Finance for selected larger purchases. East Coast Mobility act as an agent for Snap Finance and is not a registered credit broker. Please call us on 01502 514500 if you would like to know more about the finance options available.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect you in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


We normally ship products within 5 working days but can achieve this quicker if required.

Tax Charges

Almost all the products on this site are zero-rated for VAT when purchased by, or for, an individual who will be using the product to aid their personal comfort or mobility. We will simply record the product purchased and the condition from which you suffer, at the time of purchase. This information will be made available to the VAT office should they request but not to any other persons.

Credit Card Security

All online payments are processed by Stripe and are 100% secure. Your card details are never transmitted to us, only a confirmation that the payment has been accepted.


All new products have at least twelve months warranty from date of delivery. We will undertake the repair or exchange of any item, which is deemed to be faulty. Any instances that are deemed to be user misuse will be charged on an individual basis. For complete peace of mind, you can extend your warranty for up to three years on scooters and powerchairs, so that you never have to worry about repair bills.

Privacy Policy

East Coast Mobility does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Data collected by this site is used to:

  1. Take and fulfil customer orders
  2. Administer and enhance the site and service
  3. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.
